Nearly Four Decades in Jewelry

The store has changed, the technology has evolved and a second generation has joined the business. The principles behind it have remained remarkably consistent.

1989

The Beginning

Michael Spilotro establishes the family's original jewelry business near Harlem and Belmont in Chicago.

2002

Arezzo Jewelers

The family business enters a new chapter under the name Arezzo Jewelers, inspired by the Italian city and its gold-jewelry tradition.

2021

Elmwood Park

Arezzo moves from its longtime Chicago location into its current showroom on North Avenue in Elmwood Park.

Today

The Second Generation

Traditional jewelry expertise now works alongside modern CAD, digital design and contemporary jewelry-making technology.

A Name With Meaning

Why Arezzo?

Our name reflects an important part of the tradition that helped shape our jewelry business.

Arezzo Jewelers takes its name from Arezzo, Tuscany, one of Italy's historic jewelry and gold-manufacturing centers.

Italian gold played an important role in the early years of our family business and remains part of Arezzo today through our selection of 14K and 18K Made in Italy jewelry.

The name is more than a reference to a place. It represents an appreciation for craftsmanship, design and jewelry made to be worn for generations.

Michael Spilotro

Michael established the family's jewelry business in Chicago in 1989. His experience with diamonds, Italian jewelry and decades of customer relationships created the foundation from which Arezzo Jewelers grew.

Jeannie Spilotro

Jeannie has been part of the family business and the relationships behind it for decades, helping make Arezzo the kind of store where customers are welcomed personally and remembered when they return.

Vincent grew up in the family jewelry business and now brings the second generation forward through custom jewelry design, diamonds, CAD technology and a hands-on approach to helping clients create meaningful jewelry.
